Course Description: Challenges students' own creative and cultural expectations and boundaries when it comes to the visual arts. Does so through exploring both visual arts from different perspectives and contexts but also through experimentation and reflection of contemporary practices and media. Through reflection, inquiry, investigation, and creative application students will hopefully gain appreciation for the expressive and aesthetic diversity of the world, making them critically informed makers and consumers of the visual arts.
