Course Description: A mathematics class that focuses more about the practical application of mathematics rather than the mathematics itself. Students are encouraged to solve real world problems through mathematics through constructing and communicating mathematical models along with interpreting these models.

Because IB Mathematics: Applications and Interpretations touches on many topics and focuses on the practicality more than the technicality (which is still important!) it is a good pre-university math class for those who aren´t mathematically inclined or are going into careers in the human sciences or in business.
